Sorry to say I wasn't there I was across the street at the sheriff's department getting a permit I just looked at the place actually is not a very good place there is one on 25 just south of Donaldson Center on the right very well taken care of how's your wife you may have to get in line to get a replace in here but it's nice
There are train tracks and the train came through once a day in the evening while we were there. The new laundry is WAY too complicated and more expensive than the laundromat a mile away. They paved some of the roads while we were there, so they’re working on improving. The pull-through sites were east to navigate and mostly level although narrow. Utilities were good and the park was quite, even on the weekend. The experience here was good and it was a good location. I do think trash should be picked up more than once a week considering all the long-term sites. The cost was also higher than we’re used to paying considering no amenities.
The management could not have been nicer. This park is located close to many area attractions. Greg and Shane were wonderful and installed a 50 amp electrical outlet for my RV. Paul was considerate and contacted me personally about an issue I had called about. I enjoyed my stay there.
We enjoyed staying there. The reason I did a 4 star instead of 5 star is because you have to download an app and pay thru the app to do your laundry and to me there was way to many rules just to do laundry! So we went to town to do our laundry. It is a good place to camp! We were right over the railroad tracks! A short train went through 2 times a day! We liked listening to it! Paul the man in the office was so very nice and helpful! He was fun to chat with! The campground is quiet and really pretty!
Nice quiet park except for the train that comes through the middle of the park sometimes in the middle of the night! An airport is close by but didn't seem to have very many loud planes. What is nice about this park is being close to Greenville & retail. There seemed to be a few full timers & local workers staying here but there were no issues. Be forewarned if you are in the lower park the nice trees drop sap that you will need a solvent to wash off!We will use this park again when back in the area.
We have done overnights here every year from 2017-19. We stopped for our regular overnight stay and it doesn't seem to have changed at all. Just as we remembered. Spots are fairly roomy. Friendly atmosphere and easy on/off HWY. Can't speak for the bathrooms or laundry but place is well lit at night and quiet. Distanced enough from the main road that there is little traffic noise. Train does go through the campground but it doesn't (as far as we know) during sleeping hours.
